American Collegiate Rowing Association PollApril 8, 2009
This is the first coach's poll for the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) 2009 spring racing season. The ACRA is the organization focused on establishing a national championship event for collegiate rowing teams who are not eligible to compete in the NCAA and the IRA Championships.
The inaugural poll of 2009 has resulted in top honors going to the University of Michigan in the Men's Varsity 8.
In the Women's Varsity 8 Grand Valley State University snags the #1 ranking with Purdue University garnering three first place votes and finishing second overall.
This week's voters are: Alex Berlin, Cameron Carter, Hugh Dodd, Jason Stelly, Jeremy Niznick, Jeremy Struemph, Justin Knust, Kurt Butler, Liz Meltzer, Mark McIlduff, Michael Townsend, Paul Bugenhagen, Paul Mokha, Pete Rosberg, Raf Crowley
The next regular season poll will be released on April 15, 2009.
