Coxswain Jack Goes Swimming

At the recent US Rowing Youth Regional Championship on Mercer Lake, Moorestown crew ran a Mens Lightweight 8 and two Mens Lightweight 4 boats. Our Gentleman took Gold and Bronze in the 4 and took bronze in the 8. Our boys rowed 3 - 2K races that day and we are very proud of them. This is a Picture of the Coxswain Jack Sencindiver as he is being tossed into the lake by his crew mates. A fitting end to a wonderful day of racing.

Learn to Row - Iron Man

We were so pleased to have a special guest at Saturday's final Learn-to-Row session! Iron Man was in Cleveland to promote the opening of The Avengers and joined a lucky few for a row on the Cuyahoga River. We're hoping he'll be back in Cleveland for USRowing's National Learn to Row Day on June 2 or the inaugural USRowing Masters Head Race National Championships on September 16!

Vicious Crab

First you notice the splash on the starboard side. Then you notice....only seven rowers. Then you see that the splash and the bow rower knocked prone are the result of a vicious crab caught by a Miami Rowing Club boat on Sunday at the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association Sweep Championships at Sarasota County's Nathan Benderson Park.

Indiana Lightning

Some of the lightning that cancelled the Dale England Cup racing on Saturday, April 28, in Bloomington, Indiana. Luckily we were able to race 4-across the afternoon prior, so no one missed the chance to race all the other crews. Exciting racing on Friday!
