Distance: 1800 meters Conditions: All races were against a strong head current. In the MV8 and MJV8 races, crews faced a strong head wind of 15-18 miles per hour. The wind subsided to less than 10 miles per hour for the MN8 race. Comments: The Men's JV8 race was the most exciting race of the day with both crews exchanging the lead all the way down the course.
