Distance: 1800 meters Conditions: Both races were against a strong head current. There was a strong head wind, 15-18 miles per hour for the WV8 race. Winds subsided to less than 10 miles per hour for the WN8 race. Comments: In the WN8 race, RIT caught a boat-stopping crab at 700 meters. Both crews were nearly even at that point of the race. RIT's WJV8 raced in the WV8 event.
