Distance: 2000m
Conditions: Sunny and 70 degrees. 15-25 mph head wind, moderate to heavy chop. Wind decreased and course flattened out some in the last 1000m. Wake from pleasure boaters present in most races, which affected time but not order of finish.
Comments: Beautiful day at Lake Lanier. Challenging but fair conditions on the course. Rocket City and McCallie raced some small boats after the eights, and those results are not noted here. This was the first meeting between the three programs in the regular season. Thanks to all rowers, parents, coaches, and Lake Lanier Rowing Club for making it a success.
