- Varsity 8 - Dad Vail Champs, 8th at IRA
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 7
2024 Seniors - 3
2024 Outlook - "Our team graduated a strong class last year, but we are lucky to have a few of our seniors return this year as graduate students. As a result, we’re bringing back most of what was a pretty strong crew from the 2023 season. Despite some setbacks, early indicators point to the possibility of a strong season. If everything comes together, it could be a great spring of racing for our program."

2023 Outlook - "With our entire 1V returning from the 2022 season and a strong incoming freshman class, we’re expecting a fast spring season. Our schedule will include lightweight and heavyweight competition and we expect to be competitive in every race we enter."

Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - N/A
2022 Seniors - 6
2022 Outlook - "We’re thrilled to be back on the water and getting ready for an actual racing season. Despite the long hiatus, the team is in good form, and we’re looking forward to what we hope will be a highly competitive racing season. While most of our experienced oarsmen graduated during the pandemic, the core of rowers that we’ve retained brings a lot of talent and drive. In another year, we’d worry about lack of experience, but that’s the norm right now, so we’re excited to see what we can do in March and April."

2019 Seniors - 4
2019 Outlook - "We’ve moved from the EARC Sprints to the Dad Vail as our team’s championship. We’re looking forward to seeing new competition. Our race schedule will feature quite a lot of racing in the heavyweight category prior to Dad Vail, but we’ll see several Dad Vail programs as well. Our team is young and are making solid progress, but we’ll need to continue to grow in skill and fitness throughout the spring to produce our best possible performances."
-Head Coach Will Oliver

2017 Finish
- Varsity 8 - Won Secretary of the Navy Cup at SDCC, 10th at EARC Sprints
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 7
2018 Seniors - 5
2018 Outlook - "We’re looking to improve on last year’s performances. We have a great group of freshmen joining the program this year, and we expect they’ll help drive our performance this spring. While our team is relatively young, the experienced rowers we do have are setting the tone and making this a very productive training year."
-Head Coach Will Oliver
Head Coach - Will Oliver, 7th year
2016 Finish
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 6
2017 Seniors - 3
2017 Outlook - "This season we’re hoping to build a strong foundation with a relatively inexperienced crew. Improving fitness during the winter will be extremely important, but, if we do, I think we could see some solid racing this spring as our 1V becomes more seasoned."

2022 Outlook - "We have not had a spring season since 2019, so only our senior class has ever gone through a full season. We are coming off of a competitive fall racing season, the team’s energy and attitude are in the right place. We are also now up and running in our new boathouse, which has been a great boon to our daily training, and we are excited to see what we can do this spring."

- Varsity 4 - 8th at Patriot
Returning Varsity 8+ Athletes - 4
2020 Seniors - 3
2020 Outlook - "We have a very young team—and strong. The freshmen alone account for 18 out of our 34 student-athletes (8 of whom are walk-ons). 9 sophomore, 4 juniors, and 3 seniors make up the rest of the team. With a first place finish for the V8 at the Head of the Fish—powered by 5 freshmen, 3 sophomores and 1 junior—and a 2nd place finish for the 2V8, the entire team has attacked their winter training. The sophomores and freshmen are owning their roles as young leaders and growing into the challenges that face a young team as well as being without a boathouse for the racing season as Pierce Boathouse goes through a renovation to be completed by the fall of this year. Every challenge so far has been welcomed with the knowledge that the resulting growth brings strength of mind and body. The team is looking forward to testing themselves side by side with fellow competitors who have worked as hard and are equally as excited to race!"

Our racing season is one of our most challenging to date, with an early March 25 start versus the University of Rhode Island. Highlights include the George Washington Invite, Women’s Sprints and the Patriot League Championship."

2016 Outlook - "We are in year 2 of growing our young team: half of the team comprised of freshmen and one third walk-ons. Challenging this young team our first race, March 26, will be Northeastern, Boston College and Radcliffe for the Beanpot trophy. Heading into week two, the Engineers head south to the George Washington Invite for two days of dual racing, including Patriot League competitors—Navy and Georgetown. The team culture and attitude have grown to yet another level this year, taking on more miles than ever this winter. Almost every weekend we will face a fellow Patriot League opponent making this one of our strongest racing seasons to date. We look forward to the challenges and continued team growth this season."
