	OULRC 1992 vs CULRC 4/30/2012 In 1992 OULRC broke CULRC'S 13 year winning run. Oxford won by 2 ½ lengths in 5:40. The crew was reasonably experienced (a GB U23, a GB Junior, couple of "home internationals", one US lightweight development squad, various UK National Champs medallists, four previous half blues including an ex OULRC president and an ex CULRC president). Having said that, it wasn't pretty.... Disbanded post-race, but most of the crew got back together for brief crack at Henley (going out by a length to ASR Nereus on the Friday) and National Champs (taking a bronze behind Notts County and London RC). A swimmer on the racing course, a restart in choppy water, and then the shock of a broken oar blade pushed the Oxford crew to the limit: and in one case, beyond.
