Australian Boat Race - Uncut Race Footage

The Australian Boat Race is an annual rowing eights challenge between Australia's two oldest universities, the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney. It is a stand alone show case event, held year about, on the Yarra River in the heart of Melbourne and on the Sydney Harbour. It encapsulates the long standing rivalry between two great cities and two great universities. It is set to become a showcase event on each of the cities' iconic watercourses and is the beginning of a brand new tradition. The race format is a one-on-one match race between each universities' best women's and men's rowing eights.

The Orange men and women’s rowing teams combined to win three of the six races at the Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 5 on Onondaga Lake. More than 500 people were in attendance as the Orange competed against crews from Cornell, Hobart, Buffalo, Rochester and Colgate in various events along the three-mile course.

Dartmouth 150s at 2011 Eastern Sprints/ with recording

The Lightweight 8+ grand final footage, dubbed over with the recording of the coxswain and some "epic" music in the background. The sprint at the end is amazing (along with the music) and the cox uses some great calls throughout the race.
Dartmouth did end up in second at the end, 1.49 secs behind Harvard and .11 secs ahead of Yale.

Great Race highlights: international rowing crews take up Waikato challenge

The University of Waikato has laid down the challenge to the international rowing crews for the Gallagher Great Race on Sunday September 11. The men's and women's crews from Cambridge, Melbourne and Sydney universities were officially welcomed to the university and the region today with a powhiri held at the University of Waikato Te Kohinga Marama Marae.
