Rescue of a Men's Novice 8 Rower ejected from the University of Rochester boat after a massive crab...this occurred during the Head of the Genesee on Sunday, Oct. 11. This poor stroke was ejected and started swimming for the shore after the current, wind & forward momentum moved his boat out of reach. He was quickly rescued by a sheriff's boat stationed nearby, which, after pulling him ashore, took off for the dock at full speed nearly swamping the boat in the process. Good job on the part ...

For those who don't know, this sport is called Crew (AKA rowing). Nimnels and I do crew. nimnels is the person sitting second to right (the guy who gets smacked in the head with the oar). a Crab is when a rowers oar goes over their head because they are unable to get it out of the water. in this clip nimnels gets smacked in the head AND STILL RECOVERS AND ROWS ON!
