Study Alumna Andréanne Morin '98 shares her Olympic silver

Alumna Andréanne Morin, came by to share her 2012 Olympic silver medal with her alma mater, on the first day of school. The applause was deafening, the fascination with her actual silver medal captivating. "It weighs 400grams, the heaviest medals in summer Olympic history,"explained Morin. She also shared a motivating message, "what is worthwhile doesn't come quickly, it took me 12 years to get this," as she proudly held up her Olympic silver medal in rowing. Morin went on to encourage all 320 girls at The Study, " to give your everything, effort is so important." The Study is clearly very proud of their 1998 graduate and all her accomplishments. Not only was this Morin's third time at the Olympics in the women's 8, she is currently in her third year of law at University of Montreal and she is the only North American to be appointed to the World Anti-Doping Agency's athlete's committee.
