2023 Outlook - "We have a lot of returning talent and upperclassmen this year in addition to a large group of novice women. The competition within the team looks to be tight, which should help us be more competitive when it comes to racing. Overall, a stronger team than past seasons and a good outlook for Spring 2023."

2022 Outlook - "Loyola Rowing is bigger than at any point in its history, with a roster of 30 men and 38 women. We need to pull together different segments of the team, created by the circumstances of COVID safety measures and a large recruited freshmen class. Getting all athletes on the same page will be the key to success this year and in the future."

I’m looking forward to continuing that success as those athletes move into varsity boats this season. We also have a solid group of novices who have the potential to repeat the success of last year’s group."

2021 Outlook - "The Loyola men have three good classes coming up through the ranks, including the juniors who medalled in the freshman four event at the last Dad Vail Championships. The team’s cohesiveness and rowing synchronicity will depend in large part on our ability to get water time this spring. Ideally we’ll be able to spend the time we need in boats, but we’re also aware that COVID and weather may cut into that time and we are preparing to embrace a “grip it and rip it” attitude and savor any opportunity to race."
