2021 Outlook - "Being together as a student-body is an integral part of the Notre Dame Educational Experience. We were one of the first universities to decide we would resume in person classes with the whole student body in August. When it came to the team we knew this year would be a different team environment that would present some obstacles both small and large. We have faced each obstacle and found a way to get through it and I am confident that we will continue with that mindset going forward.
"I could not be more pleased with the progress the team has made in the last year or so. Best ever 2nd semester team GPA last year and best ever 1st semester team GPA this year. The training on their own from late March to August and again from November to January went very well. The ability to adapt to our new training protocols was terrific.
Excellent on the water development during the first semester. Most recently we just completed an outstanding preseason camp. Now that classes have started we are using camp momentum to go faster and faster as a team.
"During this whole time the University and the Athletic Department have been committed to making sure that our students and student-athletes have the best experience possible given the circumstances. We are excited that we will be able to represent that commitment on the water. Row Irish!"
