You look at the times of their class day races even after the horn mixup along with their margin over Oregon and you know they are fast. Probably their best competition is their own 2V and they race them every week. It is true that there is not enough data to justify the percentages above but there is no data to support a different order at the top.
If Washington doesn't show up to a major regatta and Cal does and wins fairly easily, how can UW be ranked ahead of Cal, especially after Cal winning IRA last year?
