Texas Brrrs
photo submitted by: Kurt Schwarz (March 1, 2010)
The Don Rowing Club of Mississauga, Ontario, drove nearly 1,500 miles to the White Rock Boathouse in Dallas, Texas, for a warm weather respite from their frozen home river, only to be greeted by a foot of snow (and Koko, WRBH's Boathouse Dog). Our Canadian friends had the misfortune to visit during the largest single-day snowfall in Dallas history. Koko (whom one DRC rower called a "gigantic beaver") demonstrated that snow and cold is no excuse not to dive into your workout.
