1977 Solo Tasman Ocean Rowing

In 1977 Colin Quincey was the first man to row the Tasman Sea solo and unassisted. Departing from New Zealand Hokianga Harbour and arriving at Marcus Beach Queensland Australia 63 Days and 7 hours later. December 2009 Surf Boat rower Shaun Quincey Colin's son will attempt to become the second person to row the Tasman and the first to row from Australia to New Zealand solo and unassisted www.tasmantrespasser.com.

I set up on the mound fronting main chair and after a while of fighting the sweep and big wind along comes a Freight Train set (by the way is was a hurricane passing by, not a mere noreaster!)
